MALAIKA JULES

   Malaika Jules is a stand up comedian, writer and improviser from Inglewood, CA. After studying TV production at Howard University, Malaika worked in network news before deciding to “do something more creative”. Obviously, she began recording rap records with friends that led her on a decade-long journey as a female rapper in the underground scenes of LA and NYC.

   While she loved recording and performing music, time revealed that her love for storytelling through film and television just wouldn’t quit. She began performing stand up comedy at a Pizza joint by LAX in 2018 and hasn’t looked back. She is a part of the Sketch team Jortz and has studied Imrov and Sketch writing at UCB and the Pack theatre. She currently resides in Los Angeles where she performs stand up comedy throughout the city.
